"A moon, two, a bird, a flower, constellations of elements that order and disorder the painting."

My work focuses on offering a contemplative look at nature, without attempting to represent it literally.

An intimate look at nature, where you can wander between strokes and colours. Each element is a reminder of the beauty and mystery that surrounds us. The night is the point of reference, with nature as the protagonist, the city and humanity silenced in the darkness. A search for the light and colour that shines in the landscape before disappearing at nightfall.

Escayo's paintings are produced in a wide range of forms, from small postcard formats to large wall-sized creations using acrylic, oil, ink and other media in combination.

The paintings have a texture, collage and vibrant energy. In these works, the natural world often interacts with the artist's world: explosions of color, hidden text, line and space combine in an explosion of life.

In addition to painting, Escayo also works with photography and new media.
