The Lucía Dueñas Gallery opened its doors on March 6, 2018 in Oviedo.
Its director, Lucía Dueñas (Mieres, 1982), holds a degree in Art History from the University of Oviedo, as well as a master's degree in Museology and Museums from the University of Alcalá de Henares. She has also completed courses in Museum Education and Introduction to Heritage as a Didactic Resource at the University of Alcalá de Henares. Since graduating, her professional career has been linked to the art world.
He worked in several art galleries: Dasto, Formato Cómodo and Van Dyck, and at LABoral Centro de Arte y Creación Industrial.

Painting, sculpture, photography or printmaking are present in a varied program of individual or collective exhibitions that are based on a careful and contrasting selection of established or emerging artists.
The Gallery's eclectic style is one of its defining characteristics, along with its selection of national and international artists.
Furthermore, Lucía Dueñas is very committed to maintaining parity between the artists, women and men, that she represents.
The Gallery's objectives include promoting and disseminating contemporary art in all its manifestations (painting, ceramics, drawing and illustration, among many others); generating exchanges, alliances and synergies with other galleries and cultural institutions; and fostering collecting as a driving force of the artistic fabric.
