Víctor Velasco Recio (Avilés, 1986). Introducing the public to the value of the original idea, always born from a sketch and the maximum saturation of the canvas, is the key to understanding the final results of his work. Over the past year, he has also experimented with digital creation using generative artificial intelligence.
VKTR is the brand's "name without vowels" that its creator uses to introduce himself, utilizing synthesis as his strong suit. Straight lines, architecture, and urban planning are the sources of his inspiration, dominated by black and white tones accompanied by small portions of orange and/or blue.
Her degree in Furniture Design from the Oviedo School of Art in 2010 reflects the imprint of her creation. If we add to this her incorporation into the DV Collective in 2012, we can discover a career full of experience in artistic photography, experimental video, installation, site-specific, and mixed media.
His works have been exhibited in prestigious spaces and events, including LABoral Center for Art and Industrial Creation (Gijón), Sala Borrón (Oviedo), ArtBox Proyect (Málaga and New York), Niemeyer Center (Avilés), Valey Cultural Center (Castrillón) and Jovellanos Birthplace Museum (Gijón), among many others.
