ENTREARTE V. Art, accessibility and contemporary dialogue
The collective exhibition ENTREARTE V. Art, accessibility and contemporary dialogue will celebrate its opening on Tuesday, December 30 at 7:00 p.m. in the Sabadell Herrero Exhibition Hall in Oviedo, becoming one of the cultural events with which the city bids farewell to the year.
Thanks to the agreement between the Association of Contemporary Art Galleries of Asturias and Sabadell Herrero, and with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Principality of Asturias and the Oviedo City Council, the exhibition is being held for the first time in Oviedo, reinforcing its territorial vocation and its commitment to a free and accessible cultural program.
This fifth edition features 13 galleries and art spaces, each presenting the work of a single artist , mostly from Asturias, representative of their artistic style. The exhibition establishes a dialogue between different artistic languages and practices, including painting, sculpture, and photography.
The exhibition is also complemented by a free public program , developed in collaboration with the Municipal Culture Foundation of the Oviedo City Council, which includes guided tours, a family day and a children's workshop aimed at promoting an early approach to contemporary art.
The Lucía Dueñas Gallery presents Orrite (Madrid, 1981).
He holds a degree in Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid. He received the Ayllón Scholarship in the field of painting, for which he was awarded First Prize .
She enjoys working on themes that evoke melancholy, solitude, and silence. For Orrite, one of the most important things is capturing the light in a scene. Her realistic and figurative style is conveyed through oil paintings on canvas.
Orrite frequently visits the Nordic countries, particularly Sweden. His first visit marked a turning point in his work. The painter instinctively connected with the tranquility, melancholy, and mystery of the Nordic landscape and its people. These sensations and surroundings strongly influence his current work.
Color, light, and sensations, with special attention to the effect of the brushstroke and paint movement, could serve as a definition to summarize his work.
She has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions, both nationally and internationally, in cities such as Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao, Paris, Brussels, Lisbon, and Mallorca, among others. Her work is held in museums and public and private collections.

In my yearning to make the ephemeral endure, I want to delve into the intangible. And bound to the surface, I aspire to touch the deepest recesses, to convey what is hidden, that which makes me wish that the apparent beauty of a moment would not succumb to the oceans of time.
It is then that the lights, the shadows, the textures, the essence and time take the place of verses in the poetry of the moment."
