SOUL Graphic | VII International Fair

We participate again in ALMA Gráfica, VII International Fair of Contemporary Graphic Art.

The purpose of ALMA Gráfica is to create an exhibition platform for the world of engraving and art publishing, as well as to offer galleries, artists and publishers an environment where they can publicize their work and put them in contact with collectors and the public. in general.

The multiple aspects of specialization within the field of Graphic Art configure this Fair as a meeting point for monitoring training, own production, exhibition and artistic dissemination, configuring the event as an interdisciplinary meeting with a scope of action that exceeds local and regional limits, to place it among the main national references in this sector.

For the 7th edition of ALMA Gráfica we have selected prints, watercolors and collages by Cristina Gayarre (Madrid, 1975).

Graduated in Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid (1999), specializing in Engraving. He has taken engraving courses with Paco Aguilar, Julio León, Manuel Ayllón and Yoko Kataoka. Since 2016 he has been learning Sumi-E painting with Gloria Gallego and Yano Koro.

He has been holding individual and group exhibitions for 24 years, highlighting his participation in fairs such as Estampa, Madrid, FIG Bilbao (Bilbao International Festival of Engraving and Art on Paper) or Affordable Art Fair in different cities such as Hong Kong, London, Stockholm, Paris or New York.

Gayarre specializes in the female figure and natural motifs, with a simple and personal style. Contrasts and duality of colors are always present in his works, trying to seek the exaltation of women through their form and silhouette. Her work is clean, direct, reflecting different states of women, always from a serene and calm point of view.
