The black and white photographs of Rafa Fernández takes us to the purest North America through the photographer's road trips in the style of other great names such as Robert Frank or Garry Winogrand.
"My interest in the American period of the 50s intoxicates everything. Everywhere I go I can't help but think about the cinema of that time, the cars, the clothes, the hairstyles... Elegance and glamor come to mind when I think in those years and, almost without meaning to..., I look for a vintage feeling in the objects and scenes I photograph, as if what appears in the image were outside its temporal space.
