Vital signs are the parameters that determine the state of a person. There are four: pulse, temperature, tension and respiration.

Under these four background constants, a series of works are developed, which go beyond medical parameters and approach a more poetic and personal terrain, sometimes using word games, metaphorical language and irony and trying to convey a message. vital and positive.

There are numerous factors that can modify the vital signs of an individual, but the body tends to keep them regulated. In the same way that there are numerous adversities throughout life, but we always try to face them and move forward. The different characters that fill the work are still there, although sometimes they see their parameters altered.

It is a theme, repeated many times in previous works by Begmont, and serves as a great driving force and impulse, to transmit that plea towards life, towards "not giving up" and finally maintaining our vital signs, but, not simply, but by being aware of it and taking advantage of the moments.

With an apparently childish aesthetic halfway between illustration and comics, Begmont aims to hide much deeper and more important meanings behind a friendly appearance. In short, may we live, above all, may we live!!!
