Collection: Blanca Prendes

She was born in Gijón in 1973. A graduate in Fine Arts from the University of Salamanca, she studied in Kassel and at the HFG Offenbach, Frankfurt, while developing part of her creative work, which she continued in Badajoz and later in Asturias, where she has settled. In 2017, she completed a Master's degree in Integrated Advertising at the International University of La Rioja.

She has been the coordinator of the "La voz de mi madre" Association in Badajoz, and of the Motiva Graphic Design Conference in Asturias. She has also participated in several group exhibitions and public art projects.

For several years she was a professor at the Oviedo School of Art . She is currently a professor of Design at ESAPA , the Higher School of Art of the Principality of Asturias.

Until February 2018 she belonged to the Offmothers Collective along with Susana Carro, Roxana Popelka, Eugenia Tejón, Gema Ramos, Natalia Pastor and Elena de la Puente, where they worked on art and motherhood issues.

She currently belongs to the Association of Women Artists, Blanco, Negro y Magenta, and the Association of Women in the Visual Arts . She is also part of Espacio Local , located in Gijón, and the Laboca Cultural Association that manages it.
