Collection: Roberto Martín
She creates original and designer ceramic pieces. She works with porcelain , crafting objects that she assembles and decorates by hand, at a leisurely pace, firing them multiple times until completion. She strives for each piece to have its own unique identity; no two are exactly alike , each one tells its own story.
Her work is based on the search for a language capable of evoking emotions, sensations, and new thoughts . In her creative process, she draws on classical and avant-garde references, but also a more personal world as a source of inspiration. She plays with the idea of repetition and explores all possibilities, seeking a dialogue within her works, a thread that unites them, sometimes subtly and other times quite obviously. This allows her to create versatile, honest, refined pieces with a playful touch.
She trained for four years at the Madrid ceramics schools EAFAC and ECM , and as such, she carries out the entire production process of her ceramic pieces . From the initial modeling and the creation of the plaster molds to the final firing, each piece is handcrafted from start to finish, with a subtly imperfect finish and extensive research behind every work.
