Generative artificial intelligence is breaking into the mainstream. After discovering this new tool, VKTR embarks on a journey of exploration and dissemination around Gen AI, which leads him to curate a print exhibition and found a pioneering physical and digital magazine on the topic in Spain.

These milestones mark the line of thought that drives the creation of the works Under Construction I and II, defending a critical and open position on the role of the artist in the face of this new technology.

The key questions thus arise:
Are we dealing with art or simple creation?
Can a person without artistic training call themselves an "AI artist" for using a generative tool?
Should an artist who incorporates AI into their creative flow redefine their role or simply expand their resources?

AI is presented as a tool for imagining the unimaginable, a catalyst that expands creative potential. VKTR brings his style to the algorithmic environment, reinforcing his already characteristic white line on a black background, generating more than 50 images. These two works emerge from this process, subsequently refined with digital tools external to the AI ​​interface.

Under Construction I and II are the embodiment of a hybrid process, where the flat, almost schematic, wired anarchy characteristic of VKTR is transformed. The marker, pencil, or acrylic give way to the rhythm of the algorithm, but they don't disappear; they are reinterpreted.
These pieces represent a new concept of digital art, where the creative process is reconfigured, but the artist's gesture remains present. It's not just what is seen, but how it is constructed that gives meaning to the work.
