With great sculptural skill, Flavia Robalo creates an atmospherically dense cosmos centered on female figures that seem dreamlike and immersed in themselves. In formal terms, it develops its protagonists in the field of tension between movement and pause. Behind each work hides a fictional story. The artistic interest lies not so much in the story itself, in the representation of certain incidents, but in the exploration and visualization of deep human emotions such as vulnerability, strength, freedom or loneliness.
